Artisan: Jess Chonowitsch (born 1947) started as pipe maker in 1965.
Stampings: The signature may be circular or in two straight lines when little space or bamboo shank. The manufacture year is stamped under the circular signature except for "bird" graded pipes.
Production (2005): ~ 200 pipes/year
No grading. The best pieces are stamped with a pigeon like bird.
