Updated: Feb 26, 2010 Achille Savinelli Sr. opened in Milano (1876) a store dedicated to smokers. In 1890 his son Carlo succeeded him for about 50 years. The grandson of the founder, Achille Savinelli Jr. (1918-1987) in association with Enea Buzzi started pipe production in Brebbia. They split in 1953, Savinelli setting up its own factory in Molina di Barasso.
Achille Savinelli Sr. ouvre en 1876 un magasin à Milan entièrement dédié aux fumeurs. En 1890 son fils Carlo en pris la succession pendant plus de 50 ans. Le petit fils du fondateur, Achille Savinelli Jr. (1918-1987) en association avec Enea Buzzi initie la production de pipe à Brebbia. Ils se séparèrent en 1953, Savinelli assurant sa propre production dans l'usine de Molina di Barasso.
