Missouri Meerschaum's Co (M.M.) strongest competitor. The company motto, "From Father to Son Since 1871" accompanied its trademark-letterhead for 120 years, until
H & B was bought out by M.M. in the early 1990s.

The stem logo and the markings of this pipe undoubtedly turn it into a version
of the Sasieni's "His Royal Highness" sub-brand. All it takes to be convinced is to display

version stamped "Sasieni Made".

Pipe-Dan shop at the begining of his carreer.
Grading: from A (the best) to E followed by the cheaper lines HH1 to HH4.

Meerschaum pipe fitted with a 14 Kt gold band.
N.B.: Eidam (plur. Die Eidame) is a (obsolete) German
word meaning "Son-in-law".
Ludwig Hartmann was founded in 1829 and their meerschaum
pipes were quite renowned considering they received the "Medaille
de 1ere classe" at the Exposition Universelle, 1867 in Paris.

1978 to 1983 and he produced about 1000-1100 pipes during this period. He later worked
as an architect.
