Two rather compact Peterson in their cases. Nevertheless they are as large as a Dunhill's group 4.
They have exactly the same shape.

Both pipes are from the same year: the band is sterling silver with Dublin Ireland hallmarks for 1901. Date letter

The original mouthpieces are examples of amber hand carved into
a P-lip.

As to the briar model, the right side of the shank is stamped with the name of the retail store (rare on Peterson's pipes): Watts, in Liverpool.
