Dunhill LC by Michael Parks

Michael Parks' reputation is based to a large extent on the shapes of his pipes: their avant-gardist characteristics attest an outstanding inventiveness, the courage to take artistical risks and a sharp sense for balance.
Tackling the classic Dunhill "LC" shape the canadian pipe carver demonstrates with the following pipe that his mastery extends to frontiers one wouldn't have thought of.
The Cumberland stem gives this Dunhill LC replica a nonconformist touch. They originally never had any.
The sandblasted pipe displays an almost perfect "Ring grain". Have you ever seen a so nice grain on true Dunhills from the 1920s or 1930s?
Stampings : DCXXIX (serial number: 629) V.9 (Grade 5 and year).
Michael Parks produced a version of this model with a black ebonite stem too. But in each cases he chose the white version of his logo to decorate them : looking for details ...
