Kingsland probably was made by
Friedland & Jackson of England ( "Who Made This Pipe"
op. cit. )
But "Kingsland" is also the name of a road in North London which had many pipe makers.

Artisan: Kirk Walden started as pipe repairman in 1998. In the early 2000 he decided to carve his own pipes with the KW Pipes label. After 2007 we are unable to find any trace of this part-time artisan.

Artisan: Peter Klein has been making pipes since 1988. This German maker established in Denmark in 2008.
Production (2010): ~ 350-400 pipes/year from which 70% with 9mm filter.
Grading (ascending): from D to A up to AA
