Artisan:
Gert Holbeck (born 1928) retired in 2007. His long carreer as pipe maker started in 1953 as pipe repairer with
Poul Rasmussen. In Mai 1956 he had to quit Poul's workshop and established on its own as maker. Because he carved pipes on the
Pipe-Dan's "reformed shapes" model the manager of the Copenhagen pipeshop soon hired him.
Pipe-Dan will market Holbeck's pipes until closing down in 1991.
