Manduela Riger-Kusk (born 1967) learnt the craft from
Poul Ilsted from 1990 to 1992. After this apprenticeship she established on its own producing pipes characterized by the diversity and colors of materials used for stems, extensions or applications.
Some pipes are stamped with the manufacture year.

Artisan: Cornelius Mänz (born 1968) was a textile designer when he decided in 2001 to carve pipes.
Production (2004): 60-70 pipes/year
Stampings:
"C. Mänz handegamacht" (straight) until june 2003.
From july 2003 "C. Mänz Germany" in a rugby ball shape. The number corresponds to the month and year of manufacture. (i.e. 403= april 2003)
Grading (ascending): CD, C, BC, B, AB, A and "best" (very rare)
